Embodied in this vase is history and life. It documents the life of a tree and it's lifestory can be read as a book. underneath of the vase annual rings are hidden. this trees age was minimum 21 years. It was raised up sheltered in the hessian spessart forest. Every single layer at the lateral surface refers to one year, each knot to a branch that grew on this spot. First the tree was cut down and divided into rough parts. Then the Trunk was shaped and processed with a special surface technology. Thereafter it was moulded at the german porcelain route in Bavaria and eternalized into porcelain.
